Yea... So, Sakray Beta is no more.

You can now launch your RO with JUST kRO! Well, let's face it. It does make downloadings easier, right? Ha ha.

Let's see if there are any newer kRO links. Not that sure if the 0616 is still the latest or not. ;)

Sakray Still Refuses To Patch?

Ok, that's what I am experiencing now. >.>

Surfed everywhere and I found a few solutions.

1. patch_allow errors.

Go to your RO folder. Gravity > RO. Search for patch_allow. Double click it and you may see deny on it. Replace it with allow. Save it. Now, right click patch_allow and select Properties. Select Read Only. Hit Apply/Ok.

This is the link for the above method. Just in case the link dies, at least we'd still know what to do. :D

2. Valhalla Patch

Not that sure how good it is but it looks nice. Doesn't seem to solve my problem though. But who knows if it may solve yours.

Extract it to your RO folder and it should work from there. It's used to update your Sakray and kRO.

Above all these pesky troubles of downloading this and that to make sure Sakray patches fine, I'm still with the first option.

Well, it seems like my Sakray is patching fine now. :D

Reviving Dead Downloads!

This is what you need to do if your download dies all of a sudden. It may still show that you're downloading but you're not. The -???- shows that your download is DEAD. :/

So, my download is dead. Why? because the link has expired. Pause the download.

Now, go back to the site where you've downloaded the previous file.

I chose File Front earlier, so I'm back to that very link I clicked on earlier which brought me there.

Click Download. Yes, you are downloading a NEW file; but not exactly new. :)

There, you see I'm adding a New download. This new download is actually the same file as the one you see behind.

Copy the URL. Now, exit/cancel. You are NOT going to download a new file. You're here to copy the URL.

Click Properties on your previous download which was Paused.

Paste the URL that you've copied earlier onto your current paused download.

And now, START THE DOWNLOAD!

You can always use this way to any downloads at all.

Many complaint about having the download stopping at 99% and errors upon starting the game.

My advice, just wait for a few more weeks or another month. I'm sure it should be fine by then. I'll be checking the links too, so worry not! ;)

Update Your Sakray!

Sakray Patch Shows ?? ?? ??

When you run Sakray and it shows ?? ?? ??, and the Start button doesn't work, it means that it's connecting to server to patch/update.

And in this image -below-, it means that your Sakray is already patched or it already has the latest patch so there's no need to patch/update.

But if the scenario shows... : 2008-01-17adata_k.gpf ??????, it means that you've lost the connection to the server. You have to Exit and start re-patching again.

Situation 1:

IF it constantly shows that error, you may have to install the LATEST Sakray, whichever the latest is, and just run Sakray.

Situation 2:

IF it still show errors while patching, I suggest you run the Sakray Patcher Fix and Sakray Optimiser. You can find it within this blog as well. Use the Search I have in my blog to make things easier.

p/s: Ragnarok Devs Applications are still open until further notice. :D

Right. You need to have Winrar in order for them to work. Next, extract both Part 1 and Part 2 of Sak/kRO 1213 to ONE folder. Once both parts are in that one folder, they'll become one. So you won't have to worry about Sak or Rag being in halves.

And remember. If you ALREADY have kRO installed on your computer, you don't need a new one. You ONLY need Sakray.

Sakray Patch Fixer & Optimiser

If you've been getting Gravity Errors upon warping or your Sakray is unable to patch, worry not. I have found the solution to your worries!

Actually I've been having those 2 problems ever since I played RO. Anyway, check these out.

Sakray Patch Fixer
If your Sakray patching fails at certain dates and it gives you an error or any errors encountered, use this. It will fix Sakray and it's said to connect directly to the server. It patches at the same time. It's marvellous, I tell you.

Anyway, extract it to your Gravity folder and run it.

Sakray Optimiser
Well, looking at its name, it optimises and defrags sdata.grf. Hastens loading time as well.

Extract this to your Gravity file as well. It may take quite some time. A gray and black window will pop up. Don't panic but just leave it as it optimises.

Ok, so most of you have been using cards like Raydric Archer, Gargoyle, Plasma etc to obtain its drop each time a particular monster is killed, right? The card itself never mentioned the percentage of its drop.

I, however, realised this great breakthrough last night while I was hunting a Rideword card. Ha ha.

Well, I was told that only Sakray needs to be updated often. Not kRO. Just recently, my System was slightly reformatted, so I had to redownload them all but I only downloaded Sakray and not kRO. I stilll have the old kRO 0417 installer. Well, my RO seems to be running fine. No errors so far. But still, I am not sure with this so drop me a line or two regarding this. :)

Go to Alberta. Walk straight up to the building with a warp.

Turn right.

Speak to Grandpa Turtle. Select -Tell me about Turtle Island-.

Select -Eyes Twinkle-.

Go to the docks on the right side of the map.
On the left or Jornadan, there's A Voyage Log. Read it.

Speak to Gotanblue to sail to Turtle Island. It'll cost you 10,000 zeny.

Introducing... Awesome Ragnarok Online. It belongs to a friend of mine. Not bad for a new server, I must say. Anyway, these are the server's rate:

Well, like I say, it's new. Things are still being implemented like Donation items and so on. Currently, they've been more and more people joining. Most of them are from the Asian and Western countries. Come on, those from the Eastern or Middle East. Join in as well.

Awesome RO is currently in its Beta version BUT there will be no resets, roll backs nor a restart if it's no longer in Beta. You will retain your characters. :D

Hope I'm not too late for this but there was an update sometime on June 24th - 26th. It's best to update Sakray and kRO to avoid sudden errors or crashes in the game.

Got Banned From RO?

Ok, so you have no idea what to do cos you got BANNED? HA HA HA!

It's ok. When you log in, a box will appear and say you are currently banned till bla bla bla. It's OK... You can actually bypass it.

How? Here's the trick.

If it says that you'll be banned till the 4th July 2007 at 1420 (2.20 pm), then set YOUR computer time to the 4th July 14.30 (2.30 pm) or anything AFTER 1420.

TADA! You're free.

This technique applies for some other games as well, so you may want to try it out if you get banned. Who knows if it might do the trick. ;D

I would recommend FlashGet for downloading both kRO and Sakray. Torrents.... well, not bad. But it took me 5 days to download Sakray ALONE using the Torrent. Anyway, I found a link to download kRO and Sakray much faster.

I don't know but I don't really like veins cos it's so... sandy. Ha ha.

However, I've not been on RO for quite some time cos my system is causing problems. Faulty hard disc, motherboard, graphic card.... ARGH! I NEED TO GET ON RO!!!!

My Homunculus Evolved!

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a while ago, while I was in the MVP room, FCPing a friend, a Bapho killed my Lif BUT after I resurrected it, I saw her being loyal! Ok, so now, I am not sure if you need to get your homunculus to 1000 Intimacy before it evolves or not -refer to the first screen shot-.

LOOK AT HER!!!! Ok, after using the Stone Of Sage to transform her, her intimacy will reset down to 0. So you'll have to look after her well then.

To have your pet evolved, you need to have its Intimacy to Loyal. To be Loyal, your pet's intimacy needs to reach 1000. Once it's loyal, use a Stone of Sage and it'll evolve.

Type @hominfo to check its Intimacy.

Berzebub Card Quest

Pros: This card reduces casting rate by 30%.
Cons: Reduces SP 15% and HP by 5%.

15 Emperiums (Orc Zombie, Mineral, Mimic)
600 Withed Starsands (Bathories)
400 Clock Hands (Clock, Alarm, Clock Tower Manager)
20 Worn out scrolls (Bongun)
2 Bibles (Evil Druid or buy it from the NPC)
2 Wands of Occult (Marduk)
100 Opals (Zombies)
2 Tiger's Foot Skin (Eddga - MVP)

This card is useful for Mages/Magic Users. If you have 3 or 4 of the Berzebub cards equipped, you don't have to apply Status Points on Dex. In this case, you need Int. So apply on Int.

Also, this card is used for other quest. I'll list the quest later cos the RO I'm playing is OFFLINE!!!!!!!!

p/s: The monsters mentioned are easier to find or come in mobs, so you'll get the items faster.
